Formal Gardens Painting Classes Information

Recommended materials

• Watercolour paint in tubes or pans, a couple of good size brushes (one at least 
  10mm wide)
• An watercolour paper (A3 or larger). 
• I recommend Khadi paper as it has a good textured surface (it’s 
  very reasonably priced and available from art shops or online).
• An appropriate sized drawing board. 
• A water container, plus something to mix paint in, like a watercolour palette or 
  old pots. A small water spray can be really useful along with some kitchen 
  paper.
• Chairs will be provided for working on your knee. This is fine for up to A3 size. 
  For larger paintings, feel free to bring a lightweight easel.

Key Information 

The classes will be held by Woodstock artist Rod Craig from 11am to 4pm. The class will meet at the Stables Cafe and will be held in the Formal Gardens,with stunning views of the Great Lake. Admission is £35 per person for non Pass holders, and £30 for existing Pass holders.
