Toddlers

Our youngest visitors have their own area at Blenheim Palace Adventure Play, designed specifically for toddlers. There's a wobbly play boat to set sail on and a gentle zip-line, all within a safe, accessible space.

Inside the boathouse, there's more to discover: wonky mirrors, ropes to clamber and climb, and a spiral staircase leading to a low-level slide, perfect for getting those little legs moving. It's a world sized just right for toddlers, with plenty to explore at their own pace.

Splash Seekers

The Winding River is one of the largest features in Adventure Play, running beyond the tunnel entrance and looping through the play area. Along the way, visitors can scramble over rocks, cross several bridges and pick their way between stepping stones. Water jets and canal-style locks are dotted throughout, adding extra points of interest as the river winds along.

Thrill seekers

For those seeking more of a challenge, the Wilderness offers triple zip lines and a network of ropes, while the Embankment provides walls to clamber and slides to slither down on the approach to Hensington Towers. The Grand Bridge adds further excitement, with tunnels to crawl through and tubes to slide down, and Over The Wall takes visitors up into the treetops along timber tunnels and walkways suspended above the ground.

Grow Wild

Through the potting shed lies The Allotment, home to giant carrots and an enormous deckchair. Climb the giant spider's web, weave through the asparagus, and get stuck into some percussive play among the petals, before making your escape through an oversized plant pot.

Walled Garden

Once you've had your fill of Adventure Play, the rest of the Walled Garden is worth exploring too. Get lost in the two-mile Marlborough Maze and see who can find their way out first, it's trickier than it looks. From there, head to the Butterfly House to spot species from all over the world, drifting among the plants and flowers. Stand still for long enough, and they might land right beside you. Round off the visit with a ride on Winston the Miniature Train, a favourite for younger visitors.
