A Magnificent Setting
A masterpiece of 18th Century Baroque architecture set in more than 2000 acres of ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped Parkland and award-winning Formal Gardens, Blenheim Palace provides a magnificent setting for all events, whatever the size and style. We have a selection of spaces available for an unforgettable celebration, whatever the occasion. From Champagne and canapés to dinner and dancing, the Palace boasts more than six venue options, while the Parkland can hold marquees for small and large events.
The Palace is surrounded by over 90 acres of Formal Gardens including the Water Terraces, Rose Garden and the Duke’s private Italian Garden. Our landscaped Parkland makes Blenheim Palace a unique and awe-inspiring setting for your event.
Matching exceptional service to this incredible setting, we have a dedicated team with a variety of experience that take great pride in their attention to the finest details. Our team will put together a bespoke package to match your needs and ensure that your event runs smoothly, living up to your every expectation.
You can elevate your event experience further with our newly restored Orangery. In January 2023, we embarked on an innovative conservation endeavour to reinstate The Orangery's roof to its original robust slate composition. It is the first Grade 1 listed building to do something of this kind. This intricate process entailed the removal of the existing glass ceiling, replaced with a meticulously crafted timber and slate structure. Over the last three centuries, The Orangery has fulfilled various roles, morphing from a greenhouse and conservatory to a theatre, an art gallery, office spaces, and most recently, a restaurant.
This remarkable refurbished space, now features a bar, adding a touch of contemporary sophistication to our historic venue. The Orangery's roof restoration showcases our commitment to preserving heritage while embracing modern elegance.
Please note that pre-approved outside caterers can cater only in the Great Hall, Saloon, and Long Library. Blenheim caters in the Orangery only.
Sustainability and Restoration
As a landed estate, we are uniquely positioned to take positive action to protect future generations. As a part of a five-year pledge to become greener and combat climate change, we are working across the estate towards a more sustainable way of working, and this is reflected in our events as well. Another large part of our wider plan for the Estate is that over the next 10 years, we aim to complete works to the value of £40 million to conserve our World Heritage Site. All funds we raise through admission charges and hosting events are invested back into these ongoing restoration and conservation projects that keep the Palace, its contents and surroundings as glorious today as they have always been.
