Permissive Paths

We have created a series of permissive paths to connect our local community and promote green travel.

At Blenheim we have created a series of permissive paths, supporting one of the key pillars of our land strategy. This element of our land strategy is aimed at connecting the local community by way of a network of cycle routes and paths across our land, promoting green travel and connecting the local villages in a more environmentally friendly way.

Community Map

Below is an interactive community map which has details of different walking and cycling routes across our estate. It also shows our permissive paths and socially prescribed pathways. We show the large variety of sensors around our estate to monitor things like air quality and audio.

Walks across the Estate

There are currently four circular walks available across our land outside of the park. Our Rural Team has worked hard to make these accessible and easy to follow with signage and way markers. The walks vary between approximately half an hour and two hours, and cover a variety of terrain. We are also committing to putting more interpretation along the routes, to educate people further on the rich flora and fauna of the land.

Flora and Fauna

We have many hundreds of species of birds, animals and invertebrates on the Estate – we want people to learn as much about them as possible, to encourage a joint commitment to preserving and improving the land, thereby ensuring that these creatures’ habitats endure for years to come.
