Flagstaff Gate
Completed: 2018
The gates are to be ice blasted to remove the old paint finishes and the underlying metal work will be repaired and protected where necessary. Thereafter the gates will be fully redecorated, including regilding with 23¾ gold leaf.
In 1851, the gates were originally made by Bramah and were displayed at the Great Exhibition at Crystal Palace.
