The programme will focus on the Blenheim Fantasia, as well as featuring the players from Radley College. This Fantasia was written for the opening of the organ in 1891, so it is a very special piece. It will be performed and discussed, to show off the organ.
1:15 – 1:30pm: The Father Willis Organ, introduction by the resident organist, Andrew Patterson ARCO.
1:30 – 2:00pm: Presentation and performance of the Blenheim Fantasia, composed for the opening of the organ by Edouard Silas.
2:00 – 3:00pm: The organists from Radley College, Oxfordshire, will present and play a range of pieces on the Father Willis organ.
