Explore the Heritage Learning Lab where you will discover the different techniques that underpin our restoration work and how the site of Blenheim Palace was built over 200 years.
Whether you’re a history enthusiast, a budding craftsman, or simply curious about the intricate work that goes into restoration, the lab is full of fascinating information.
Get stuck in and see the restoration in action with demonstration days taking place throughout the year. These will reveal the vital processes of stonemasonry, joinery and gilding that have preserved the Palace for centuries.
Skilled conservators will showcase their craft inside our Heritage Learning Lab, located in the West Courtyard. Watch them at work and learn more about the restoration projects underway at the Palace this year. The demonstrations are free to watch with an Annual Pass or Day ticket. Keep an eye on this page for dates and times of upcoming demos.
The Heritage Learning Lab is part of our most ambitious restoration project to date, the major £12 million roof restoration project. Discover more about this monumental project below.
