Treat someone you love to a unique gift of a tree grown on our very own Estate. Although you can't visit your planted tree, you can explore parts of our 12,000 acre Estate through permissive paths and public rights of way. By planting a tree in one of our woodlands, you are contributing to a healthier environment.
If your question isn't featured below, please email us.
There will be a variety of trees planted with most of them coming from the seeds of our older, well-established trees on the estate. We will be planting a variety of native species of hardwoods including oak, cherry, walnut and beech.
Tree planting season runs between November and March so our rural team will be out planting the sponsored trees between those months.
Your purchase will help Blenheim plant and care for one tree, from collecting the seed, nurturing it into a sapling, preparing the land, planting, tending to the growing tree and protecting it well into the future.
The sponsored trees will be planted within our 2,000 acre World Heritage Site, left unmarked as nature intended.
Trees take a long time to reach maturity. For example, an oak can take up to 40 years to produce acorns and then peaking in productivity in around 80 to 120 years.
Each year our Forestry team will decide on the sites most in need of additional tree planting. Unfortunately, due to the vastness of the planting sites on our 2,000 acre World Heritage Site, the public will not be able to visit each tree specifically as they are left unmarked as nature intended.
