Trot on over to the Stables in the West Courtyard this summer to meet our four-legged friends and discover the part horses and ponies have played in the story of Blenheim Palace.
Every weekend throughout the summer holidays they will be residing in the Stables and West Courtyard, bringing the area to life and echoing the atmosphere of many years ago when working horses were essential to the running of the Palace and grounds.
Themes across the summer will include the role of the Cavalry man and his horse during WW1, ladies' side saddle riding, Shire horses and their role on the Estate, horse-riding during the early 1700s and even the magical, horse-drawn carriage of Cinderella. Look out for the costumed character riders as well - Cinderella and Prince Charming will be among the special guests, ready to add a little fairy-tale magic to your day.
