Park & Gardens

The Parklands are made up of several types of terrain: gravel paths, tarmac roads and wood chippings. Blenheim’s landscape has elements of hills and valleys in the wider estate.

Please be aware that there are lakes and other bodies of water on our site. There should be no access into a body of water by any person or child, as they are not designed for play. Please supervise children at all times.

To access the Formal Gardens please head to the main garden entrance from the West Courtyard. The route that follows is covered by a gravel path.

The Water Terraces have steps that surround them, and you can access the lower Water Terrace via the main entrance to the Formal Garden. This leads to the other Formal Garden routes.

If you have a pushchair and want to access the upper Water Terrace, you can do so via the Churchill Exhibition.
