Private Events at Blenheim Palace

The Palace boasts a number of party venue options, while the Parkland can accommodate marquees for small to large events.

We work with a number of trusted suppliers, all selected for the quality of their service.

Please note pre-approved outside caterers are able to cater only in the Great Hall and Long Library. The catering in the Orangery is provided by Blenheim catering only.

Palace State Rooms

Few settings can rival the grandeur of the historic Palace State Rooms for a truly unforgettable private event. The magnificent Great Hall is the Palace's principal entrance and can accommodate up to 150 guests for dinner, or serves as an elegant reception space when combined with the Long Library. One of the longest rooms in any British stately home, the Long Library houses 10,000 books and the renowned Willis Organ, and offers spectacular views across Achille Duchêne's water terraces; perfect for fine dining for up to 250 guests, large drinks receptions, or as part of a larger marquee occasion. For something altogether more intimate, the Saloon the State Dining Room in which the Marlborough family still celebrate special occasion pairs beautifully with the Great Hall for grand celebrations, or stands alone for private dinners of distinction.

The Orangery Complex

Combining contemporary elegance with the warmth of its historic surroundings, the Orangery offers one of Blenheim Palace's most versatile private dining and reception spaces. With its stylish bar, beautifully appointed interiors, and a private terrace overlooking the Duke's Italian Garden and South Lawn, it provides a truly distinctive backdrop for any occasion. The Orangery accommodates up to 150 guests for seated private dining and up to 250 for standing drinks receptions, making it equally suited to celebratory dinners, corporate entertaining, summer parties, or exclusive product launches. A space that is as effortlessly relaxed as it is refined. The Orangery can also be booked in conjunction with the adjoining campaign rooms, as part of the Orangery Complex package.

Outdoor Events & Relaxed Functions

2,000 acres of 'Capability' Brown landscaped Parkland and the award-winning Formal Gardens provide a breathtaking canvas for outdoor occasions, with bespoke marquee structures available in approved locations to accommodate dining, dancing, and celebrations for hundreds of guests. Other spaces such as the stunning Water Terraces and South Lawn are also available for drinks receptions, evening celebrations and more. The Stables Café in the West Courtyard and the Pizzeria within the Walled Garden both lend themselves beautifully to informal evening events with pizza parties and BBQs available.
