Our popular gardens walking tours return this Summer, with two running daily from Monday 2nd June. New for this year is the Walled Garden Walking tour, explaining the historic role of the space, and how it continues to be important today with our sustainable kitchen garden. In addition to this, our Head Gardener Andy Mills will be hosting talks every Wednesday from the 4th of June.
Explore key features of our Formal Gardens, learning about 300 years of history as you go. Venture through the ages as you make your way past the Temple of Diana, explore the Churchill Memorial Garden, a feast for your senses as you visit our Rose Garden and make your way to our Grand Cascade, led by one of our expert guides on the way.
An entertaining and thought-inspiring walking tour with several stops around the Formal Gardens and Walled Garden area, accompanied by a knowledgeable guide. The tour will take you through the Formal Gardens and lead you to our Walled Garden, where you will learn about our kitchen garden, new planting and the importance we place on sustainability in all we do.
Come and learn more about the Formal Gardens on one of our brand new Garden talk hosted by none other than our Head Gardener, Andy Mills. Discover the history behind the Gardens, learn about the exciting changes the Gardening Team have been making and perhaps even pick up some green-fingered tips along the way.
Taking place every Wednesday at 11am from the 4th of June, each talk lasts 30 minutes and will take place in the Lower Water Terraces.
