Clare Mackintosh Book Launch - supporting Silver Star
Join us for an intimate book launch event at the Palace to support our Charity of the Year, Silver Star, an Oxford-based maternity service charity. We're celebrating author Clare Mackintosh's new non-fiction book, 'I Promise It Won't Always Hurt Like This', released in March 2024.
Clare's latest work provides an accessible roadmap for those navigating grief, offering compassion, understanding, and hope. Drawing from her personal experiences following the loss of her infant son in 2006 and her father later on, Clare has created the book she wished she had during her own grieving process.
Supporting Silver Star
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Blenheim's charity of the year, Silver Star. Which supports Oxfordshire mothers and their families. The charity ensures that the Silver Star Unit at the Women's Centre is well-equipped and comfortable for all women during their stay. Additionally, they fund ground-breaking research into complicated pregnancies.
