Answers to our most frequently asked questions for visiting this Christmas.


Parking should be purchased through See Tickets, either separately or when booking tickets for the Nutcracker or the Lights Trail. This £10 parking fee includes entry to the Christmas Market.

Book Parking after 10am  

If parking has not been pre-booked it will cost £12 on the day, and will be available to purchase up to 14.00 only, subject to availability. Visitors arriving after 14.00 will not be able to purchase on site parking on the day.

Annual Pass Holders who have not pre-booked will be charged £10 for parking, subject to availability on the day. This doesn't guarantee a space, please pre-book through See Tickets for guaranteed parking with the link above.

If arriving to Blenheim before 10am, and only visiting to explore the Christmas Market, parking is free but must be pre-booked through See Tickets. This applies until 3rd January.

Annual Pass Holders

Annual Pass Holders are eligible for £1 discount from tickets for The Illuminated Lights Trail only. This discount does not apply for 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th December or for tickets for the Nutcracker.

Annual Pass Holders will benefit from free entry to The Nutcracker in The Palace on or before 15.45, subject to availability, and free access to the Christmas Market.  Pre-booking must be done through See Tickets. This does not apply for 11th, 12th, 18th and 19th December.

A ticket for a free entry must be booked online in advance and valid Annual Pass or collection voucher must be shown on arrival for each ticket.  Failure to show either will result in a full price charge on the day or refusal of entry. 

Parking for Annual Pass Holders is subject to pre-booking, see Parking guidelines above.

If parking is not pre-booked, Annual Pass Holders are eligible for a £10 on-the-day parking fee (in place of the standard £12 on-the-day fee), subject to availability on the day. This doesn't guarantee a space; please pre-book through See Tickets for guaranteed parking.

What should I bring and wear?

The Christmas Market and the Illuminated Light Trail take place outdoors and you may need to queue outdoors for The Palace on busy days. Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear. We reserve the right to refuse inappropriately clothed patrons access to the trail if it is felt they are open to a greater risk of injury.


In line with the updated Government Guidance, we remind all guests that a face covering must be worn in our shop.

The Christmas Market is open between 10.00 and 20.00 daily.

The East Courtyard gift shop will be open between 9.30 and 22.00 and will be well stocked with a variety of Christmas gifts.

Food and Drink

Nutcracker Afternoon Tea in The Orangery is available to book in advance separately or can be booked alongside Nutcracker and Lights Trail tickets. If you have any dietary requirements, please email

A wide range of seasonal food and drink will be available to purchase in the East Courtyard, the Christmas Markets and along the Illuminated Light Trail, including mulled wine and mince pies.

Food and drink are strictly prohibited within the Palace.

Can I bring my dog this Christmas?

Only guide dogs and registered assistance dogs are allowed within The Palace or on the Illuminated Light Trail.

Pet dogs are welcome within the Christmas Market.


No Blenheim Palace discounts are available for tickets for Christmas at Blenheim Palace. This includes tickets purchased with Tesco vouchers or through any of our ticket partners.
