A magical after-dark trail for 2025 - Discover The Great Outdoors in a brand-new light.

The Illuminated Trail is bigger, better and brighter than ever before – featuring spectacular works by international and local artists. It’s a place where new memories can be made as a multitude of glowing lights and seasonal sounds fill the air with festive fun. Firmly positioned as one of the UK’s leading illuminated trails, this has everything you need for an unforgettable time with friends and family, including a magical glimpse of Father Christmas along the way.

The Palace of Oz - A magical tale of wizardry, witches, sparkling shoes and the power of friendship.

Inside the Palace, join us for an adventure through the State rooms at The Palace of Oz, inspired by L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, follow our road of yellow brick sprinkled with Christmas magic. Look out for Toto, The Tin Woodman, Scarecrow, Cowardly Lion, Witches, Munchkins and more, as you journey to the Land of Oz and discover the Emerald City where Dorothy awaits.

The Great Skate - Glide into Christmas with family and friends.

Set at the heart of the Palace's stunning Great Court, our covered ice rink is an experience not to be missed.

Surrounded by breath-taking beauty and festive décor, enjoy a luxurious hot chocolate or tasty treats at rink-side seats and capture that perfect festive family photo in this glorious setting.

 

The Christmas Market

Shoppers and foodies can escape the bustle of The High Street and stock-up on festive goodies at the celebrated Christmas Market in The Great Court. The seasonal village of wooden chalets offers everything from inspired Christmas gift ideas to tasty treats.

Grab a perfectly festive bite to eat in the East Courtyard as hand-picked street food vendors bring an indulgent twist to the tempting treats on offer. Complete your walk under the stars with a spiced winter warmer, hot chocolate or toasted marshmallow and share it with someone special.

Discount codes received from Darwins Lodges are NOT valid for use during Christmas at Blenheim Palace. If donated, Palace entry tickets can be converted to an Annual Pass during your Christmas visit or on the next visit (pass will be valid from date of ticket purchase).
