Returnable Cup Scheme Prize Draws

Blenheim Palace's Returnable Cup Scheme...

We are trialling new returnable cups in our Walled Garden, so when you buy a hot drink, you can wander and enjoy the gardens with a take away cup, that can be returned and then reused.

Each cup has a unique QR code which, when scanned, will then allow you to enter a prize draw, you can do this on every cup you pick up. The prizes include Afternoon Teas, tickets to our Christmas Lights, Hampers and some really unique Blenheim Palace treats. Each month there will be a winner picked at random.

The app will also show you where you can return your cup which will be washed and re-used.

Each cup can be re-used up to 500 times; significantly reducing waste and saving carbon.

Initially the scheme will be limited to the Walled Garden but, if successful, the aim is to expand it across the entire Estate.

Blenheim also provides separate returnable cup points that allow them to mix recycled paper cups with food waste generating compost which can be used on our Farms.

We believe climate change is the single biggest threat to Blenheim’s long-term survival and we’re committed to doing all we can to reduce and mitigate its impacts and help safeguard this World Heritage Site and its resources for future generations.
