Health and Safety Advisor

Are you committed to promoting a strong safety culture in a unique and dynamic environment? Blenheim Palace is looking for a knowledgeable and proactive Health and Safety Advisor to join our Health and Safety team. Working closely with the Head of Health and Safety and teams across the estate, you’ll support the development and implementation of our Health & Safety Management System. As a trusted partner you will be empowering staff, embedding effective safety practices, and supporting continuous improvement across a diverse and historic workplace. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact at a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

In this role you will review, implement and maintain policies, risk assessments, procedures and systems of work in alignment with Blenheim's health & safety strategy, lead or support investigations into incidents, accidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and corrective actions, and much more!

What we are looking for:

  • NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) essential. Working towards NEBOSH Diploma preferred.
  • TechIOSH or higher IOSH membership (or actively working towards).
  • Experience in working with multiple projects & priorities.
  • Previous Health and Safety experience is desirable.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and using Health & Safety management systems/software for audits, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Exceptional administration and organisation skills.
  • Communication skills - verbal and written.
  • Passion for Continuous Learning and demonstrable CPD in Health & Safety.
  • Someone friendly and approachable, maintaining a professional manner.
  • A credible self-starter with the ability to work autonomously
