Adventure Play Groundskeeper

Calling All Adventurous Souls! Join Us as an Adventure Play Groundskeeper! 

Are you ready to embark on an extraordinary journey? Do you have a passion for fostering joy, laughter, and unforgettable experiences in the hearts of children? If so, we have the opportunity for you!

By joining our Adventure play team as Groundskeeper, you will help with the general maintenance and upkeep of the gardens in the Walled Garden area. This will include daily checks, repairs, general maintenance and supporting the visitor teams in the day to day running, ensuring our visitor have a safe, well maintained and welcoming environment to enjoy 364 days a year! 


What we are looking for:

  • Previous experience of maintenance roles is desirable
  • General but basic garden skills are all regarded as beneficial
  • Manual handling
  • Customer facing environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace  
  • Hold a Full Clean UK Drivers License
  • Ability to work on their own with minimal supervision  
  • Set and maintain very high standards of delivery – attention to detail essential
  • Driven to complete tasks above expectations
  • Flexible/adaptable “can do” approach to work
  • Friendly and approachable manner
  • Proactive approach to work
  • Able to work in a demanding and busy area
