Accounts Payable Administrator

As our new Accounts Payable Assistant, you’ll be the go-to for all things purchase ledger. From processing invoices to responding to queries and making sure payments are made on time, your eye for detail and proactive approach will be key. We are after someone with solid purchase ledger experience (essential), and if you’ve got your AAT Level 2, even better! In return, you’ll join a passionate, friendly team with history, heart, and a bold vision for the future at the forefront.
What we are looking for:
- Detail oriented and accuracy is a must
- Good IT literacy - competent use of Outlook, Excel
- Knowledge & experience of Business Central and Continia is desirable
- Knowledge & experience of VAT and CIS is desirable
- Can work to deadlines
- Can work independently or as a team
- Dependant on experience this person would be responsible for CIS compliance and training.
- Ability to understand where escalation of a matter is required.
- Experience in processing high volume of invoices.
- Positive, friendly attitude and a team player
- Good time management and organized
- Computer skills
- Enjoy learning new technology and systems
- Awareness of confidential nature of the role
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Possess good communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Must have a proactive & continuous improvement mindset
