| 9am | Brompton Marathon | £30 | REGISTER | The Brompton Marathon is a 26.2 mile sportive through the Cotswolds countryside. The route will start and finish in the grounds of Blenheim Palace but will follow public highways for the most part; the route will be sign posted clearly and have marshals regularly positioned, there will also be one refreshment stop. A nice little warm up for the main event or an endurance event in its own right! More information |

Breast Cancer Care's marathon distance ride follows a picturesque ride into the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. This fundraising event is open to both men and women and is the perfect distance for those new to cycling who want their first challenge. | 12.30pm | Brompton World Championship | £30 | REGISTER | As the highlight of a fantastic weekend of cycling, this spectacular 2-lap race around 6.5Km 'Queens Pool' has an international following with competitors from France, Spain, USA and Japan. Race rules and regulations must be observed with all competitors wearing obligatory jacket and tie - a nod to the commuting followers of the Brompton Bicycles. |
| 1.30pm | Brompton Sprint event | £15 | REGISTER | The Brompton Sprint will give participants a chance to prove how fast they can go on a Brompton; the final Brompton event of the day, we expect to see some amazing feats over the 300m course. Contenders will run to a ‘parked’ Brompton, four abreast, and then power to the palace gates. The field is small with only 100 places available so it seems likely the competition will be stiff. British Cycling membership is not compulsory for participants in Bike Blenheim Palace. However, the peace-of-mind liability insurance and legal support for all training, commuting and challenge events, plus a range of other money-saving benefits, including mapping and priority access to other events, all for just £24 per year means we officially recommend it to all riders.

The Event Village
Both days will include new cycling demonstrations and exhibits in the Event Village.The Event Village is the hub of the event with most races starting in finishing close by, food and refreshments are available. 2012 will see a significantly bigger Event Village with many of the world's best cycling brands and products available to view and try out. The Animal Bike Tour will be one of the star attractions as well as a cycling cafe and Kiddimoto Champs for under 5s. Exibitors include Scott, Mavic, Schwalbe, Enigma Titanium, Rotor, Adidas, Magura, Cinelli, Campagnolo, Juice Lubes ad many more.

Family Rides and Spectator Passes
A Day Pass or Weekend Pass is required for Family Rides and spectators at this event. You can either buy it online or at the gate. The passes include access to the event within the Park, and the Formal Gardens and Pleasure Gardens.
If you want to visit Blenheim Palace while you are at the event, you can pay an upgrade on the day on your Bike Blenheim Palace ticket. A Palace ticket can be converted for free to an Annual Pass, which entitles you to get 12 months entry - FREE!
Blenheim Palace Annual Pass holders, and Friends of the Blenheim Palace Foundation Charity, can enter this event for the Family Ride or as a spectator - free.

Please note: Dogs on leads are allowed in the extensive parkland around the Palace. No dogs are allowed into the Formal Gardens, Courtyards or Pleasure Gardens. Dogs for the blind or hard of hearing are welcome in all areas.
