Music at Blenheim Palace

The Music Series at Blenheim Palace provides delightful live music on weekend afternoons to enjoy during your visit. The informal performances take place in a number of rooms throughout the year, from the Long Library which houses the 1891 Willis organ, to the grand acoustics of the Saloon, Great Hall and the Chapel. Music will be played on set dates by a variety of guest musicians, including the Blenheim Singers, and will focus on the music of English composers.

The Palace is home to two magnificent organs. In the Long Library the Willis organ, at the north end, was installed by the 8th Duke in 1891 and is the largest privately owned organ in Europe. In the Palace Chapel, which is dominated by a fine Rysbrack marble tomb, there is a beautiful Victorian Chapel organ, built by Robert Postill which has 17 stops, 2 manuals and pedals.

Please note that all the musicians playing are accomplished musicians and are volunteers
