Grape / Peach - Green House Tour Viewing the hot house where award winning grapes are grown, talk given by Gordon Masters, Kitchen Garden Foreman, with over 60 years' experience at Blenheim Palace growing fruit and vegetables. Also, included in this tour is a view of the hot house where white peaches are grown, an opportunity to see the peaches at their best, ready for picking and understand the commitment that goes into growing this type of fruit. Ceramics and Furniture Talk - led by Head Guide Jennie Grubb. Jennie has been guiding at Blenheim Palace for over 20 years. As a member of the English Ceramic Circle, she attended a seminar at the Victoria & Albert Museum in 2011, entitled 'The Baroque and its influence on Ceramics in England'. In May 2012, Jennie visited Dresden to further her knowledge of Meissen porcelain. |
