Bar Staff

The role involves taking responsibility for producing drinks for busy events along with bar and table service.

You will be required to ensure all guest expectations are met during the bar experience and providing amazing hospitality to our guests. As part of the role you will be expected to communicate with the food and beverage team and serve beverages to the required standards and ensure the bar area is always clean, organised and presented to the highest possible standard.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about beverages and delivering amazing hospitality to our guests at a prestigious venue. Experience in a similar quality bar is beneficial but not necessary; however, service with a smile and personality is a must.
Applicants must be over 18, due to the requirements of serving alcohol and must be available during term time. Own transport recommended.

Volunteer marshal’s needed at Bike Blenheim Palace!

18th - 19th August 2012 

We are offering the fantastic opportunity to volunteer as a marshal at Bike Blenheim Palace 2012.  This year’s “Festival of Cycling” has been extended over an entire weekend and Bike Blenheim Palace has on offer; 60 and 100 mile Road Sportives, new 40Km Off-Road Sportive, a tough 20Km Time Trial, Breast Cancer Care’s very own marathon distance Pink Ribbonride. 2012 will see the return of the infamous Brompton World Championships plus new Brompton Marathon and Sprint events. Each afternoon the tree-lined, traffic free roads of Blenheim Park will open up for family cycling, all of this activity is wrapped around the central hub of an event village with kids activities, stunt shows, bike polo and exhibitors from the cycling and cycle friendly industries. It is your chance to get involved as a volunteer marshal at the event, absorb the atmosphere of the buzzing event village and also get out on the routes! Volunteer opportunities include helping at registration and baggage area, course marshalling as part of the start/ finish line team, helping at the rest stations or out on the routes. Volunteer marshals are the face of the event and incremental to ensuring the participants have a safe and enjoyable day. £20 travel subsistence offered per volunteer.
