Here's a few of our top picks to pack into your Blenheim Palace summer itinerary...
Take a boat out on the Great Lake with a loved one or get active and paddleboard or kayak for an 'oar-some' summer day out.
You will have the opportunity to see the Palace, the Grand Bridge and the Gardens like never before.
Walk behind the scenes of blockbusters on the Lights, Camera, Action! Tour (every day at 11.00 and 15.00) to discover the filming locations for Harry Potter, James Bond, Gulliver's Travels, and the new Netflix series, Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.
As well as this, you can fully immerse yourself in history from 22nd July, when there will be at least one costumed character inside the Palace (every day at 11.00 and 15.00) throughout the summer holidays, with many a story to tell.
The Gardens surround the Palace, and include the Water Terraces, the Duke's Private Italian Garden, the Secret Garden, the Churchill Memorial Garden and the beautiful Rose Garden.
We have a new walking tour of our Walled Garden, from 1st August daily at 14.00, where you can learn how the garden has been used historically up to mdern day. You could also follow one of our recommended walks around the Estate.
Young adventurers are in for a treat at Blenheim Palace! Our exciting Adventure Play awaits, complete with slides, swings, climbing frames, and more. Let their imaginations run wild as they conquer our Summer Quest to be in with the chance to win a prize worth over £2500, explore our winding maze, or immerse yourself in the world of Paddington™ at Blenheim Palace, the kids will never want to leave!
Step back in time and explore our impressive State Rooms. Engage your imagination with a guided Palace audio tour, where tales from the past will transport you to another era. Take an upstairs or downstairs tour and discover how the two halves of society lived at Blenheim Palace.
You could also explore the Birth Room of Sir Winston Churchill, and Walk in Churchill’s Footsteps throughout the Palace, Park and Formal Gardens to find his favourite places.
