Up to two hours

If you just have a couple of hours to spend at Blenheim Palace, we recommend joining a guided tour of the State Rooms.  Tours last around 40 minutes, giving you plenty more time to take in the Churchill Exhibition and our interactive visitor experience ‘Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story’. Alternatively you can book a tour of the Private Apartments, 'Upstairs' or 'Downstairs', giving you exclusive access to the East side of the Palace. For a quick glimpse of our great outdoors, walk through the entrance to the gardens to see the majestic Water Terraces and walk around the South front for a view of the Italian Garden. 

Before you leave don't forget to convert your Palace, Park and Gardens ticket to an Annual Pass for free, so you can return to Blenheim Palace unlimited times over a year, giving you plenty of opportunities to discover all we have to offer.

If you’re spending a full morning or afternoon with us, take a tour of the State Rooms, then head outside and explore the Formal Gardens further afield, spending some time in the Secret Garden, Churchill Memorial Garden and the magnificent Water Terraces before walking up to the Grand Cascades. Head back to the Palace and enjoy a delicious seasonal meal in the stunning new Orangery Restaurant, taking time to admire the views over the Duke's private Italian Gardens.

Before you leave don't forget to convert your Palace, Park and Gardens ticket to an Annual Pass for free, so you can return to Blenheim Palace unlimited times over a year to enjoy everything else we have to offer.

Over four hours

For those with plenty of time to explore, we recommend taking a guided tour of the Palace State Rooms, exploring the Churchill Exhibition and the interactive 'Untold Story' experience. View areas of the Palace historically closed to the public with our new 'Upstairs' and 'Downstairs' experiences, then visit the indoor cinema to view the 'Blenheim Palace - A Living Memory' history films. Spend some time strolling around and admiring the Formal Gardens and 'Capability' Brown landscape. Book onto one of our Buggy Tours or take one of our suggested walks, visible on our interactive map.

Later, catch the Miniature Train to the Pleasure Gardens and spend time in the giant Marlborough Hedge Maze, Butterfly House, ‘Blenheim Bygones’ Exhibition and the Lavender Garden.

Don't forget to visit the stunning new brasserie-style Orangery Restaurant for a delicious hot meal or a choice of Afternoon Teas, and take in the views of the Duke's private Italian Gardens. Before you leave take a look around our East Courtyard Shop, offering a huge selection of quality gifts, local produce and Blenheim Palace own ranges.
