What to see & do
The Palace and Formal Gardens are open from 16th February to 14th December 2008. They are open daily until 2nd November, and from 5th November to 14th December they are open Wednesday to Sunday inclusive. The Park is open daily (except Christmas day).
In the Palace, you can visit 'Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story' a new permanent visitor experience that brings dramatic events from the history of Blenheim Palace to life , and the Churchill Exhibition, set around the room where Winston Churchill was born. Moving through the beautiful state rooms, there are amazing collections of porcelain, portraits, furniture and tapestries. Sweeping lawns surround the Palace and the spectacular ‘Capability’ Brown parkland stretches for over 2000 acres.
‘Churchills’ Destiny – the story of two great war leaders’ exhibition is open in the stables and the Indoor Cinema is showing an hour long film about the development of the Parkland by ‘Capability’ Brown in 1760’s.
'Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story' 300 years of enticing tales. Discover more details of life at Blenheim Palace over the last 300 years in the new visitor experience open within the heart of the Palace.
