Blenheim Palace opening times & admission prices 2010
2nd - 5th April
If you are looking for a great day out this Easter Weekend why not come to Blenheim Palace and join in the eighth annual Easter Challenge in the Pleasure Gardens. This year the Easter challenge has a 'Hare and the Tortoise' theme, and while the hunters are busy finding clues the rest of the family can take in the beautiful views of the Park and Gardens which at this time of year will be brimming with daffodils.
Whether you like to dash about like a bunny or take your time like a tortoise, the Hare-brained Hunt will have you searching high and low in the Pleasure Gardens. Complete the hunt and you will receive an Easter treat!
If you want to be an Easter bunny for the day, the Heart FM Angels will be on hand providing free face-painting at the Pleasure Gardens from 2nd - 5th April 11am - 3pm, and for a small extra charge you can design your own Easter pottery with 'Pottering About'. While the Easter hunters explore Pleasure Gardens including the Butterfly House where tropical butterflies can be seen in free flight, the rest of the family can take in the overwhelming scale and beauty of the Park and Gardens.
In the Pleasure Gardens cafe, egg decorating and bunny and tortoise colouring shapes will be available. After the Easter hunters have explored the Pleasure Gardens including the Blenheim Bygones' exhibition, the Giant Maze and Adventure Play Area, take a stroll up to the Palace to see the beautiful Easter display on the grand saloon table, and visit the fascinating experience 'Blenheim Palace: The Untold Story'.
Blenheim Palace Tree Trail
Did you know the oldest oak tree at Blenheim Palace is over 800 years old? Over the two-week Easter Holiday from 2nd - 16th April you can challenge the family to the Tree Trail to try to identify all the types of trees in the Park. The Tree Trail is available upon arrival at the Park or you can download the trail from our website.
