Butterfly House

The Butterfly House down at the Pleasure Gardens is ideal for minibeast observation and study. The full life-cycle can be followed and, in the hatchery area, a further selection of minibeasts can be seen depending on the season. Visits are usually led by the class teacher but Blenheim education staff are delighted to be available if this is arranged ahead of time. The exotic colours of the butterflies are also an inspiration for creative work, some of which is on display down there at the moment.
